Individuals may make maximum contributions of $2,400 to the primary election and $2,400 to the general election.  Married couples may contribute $4,800 per election if check is drawn from a joint account and both signatures are provided.  Partnerships are also limited to $2,400 and must include the names of all partners with their percentage of ownership.  Corporate contributions are prohibited by Federal Law.  Cash contributions cannot be accepted.  Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited; however, those residents possessing a green card may contribute.

Contributions to political committees are not deductible for Federal Income Tax purposes.

Federal Law requires Steven Solieri for Congress to use its best efforts to obtain and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in an election cycle.

Candidates for National Office must deliver 1,000 acceptable signatures from Registered Republicans in their District. Because signatures are challenged (cancelled and invalidated), a safe rule is to obtain four (4) times the signatures needed. Therefore, I ask that you consider signing a petition allowing me to run in the Republican Primaries in May 2010. This petition must be on forms provided by the State between February 16 and March 10, 2010. You must live in the 10th Congressional District, and must be a registered Republican.  If you would like to help, please contact me to arrange a signing.

The 10th Congressional District

The 10th Congressional District encompasses the entire counties of Bradford, Montour, Pike, Northumberland, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Union, Wayne, Wyoming and portions of the counties Lackawanna (excluding Old Forge, Moosic, Scranton, and Dunmore), Luzerne (all the back Mountain area, including Dallas, Kingston, Wyoming, and Swoyersville), Lycoming (the Sullivan/Columbia/Montour County boundaries west to the West Branch of the Susquehanna River (except Montoursville), north to Cogan House), and Tioga (Ward Township).
